Electricity and Gas – All sectors
- For this year’s (2022) release, the Australian Energy Statistics (AES) have made historical updates to their data set. Historical figures for electricity and gas in Snapshot have therefore been updated to align with the most up to date AES data. This will impact stationary energy for all states and sectors for all profiles years.
Electricity – All sectors
- Electricity scope factors have been updated for 2019/20. This will impact 2019 and 2019/20 profiles.
Electricity – Residential
- Tier 2 residential electricity data has been incorporated for specific NSW municipalities and all QLD municipalities. This will impact NSW and QLD municipalities.
- Modelling has been updated for all other municipalities based on this new Tier 2 data. This will impact all other municipalities.
Electricity – Commercial
- Tier 2 residential electricity data has been incorporated for specific NSW municipalities. This will impact NSW municipalities.
- Consumption data across all municipalities now aligns with the Australian Energy Statistics state totals. This will impact all municipalities.
Electricity – Industrial
- Incorporating location based key emitters via NGERS and the Safeguard mechanism. This will impact all municipalities. Most municipalities will see a small decrease in emissions with certain municipalities seeing a significant increase.
- Consumption data across all municipalities now aligns with the Australian Energy Statistics state totals. This will impact all municipalities.
Gas – All sectors
- Gas availability for each municipality has been updated. This will impact NT and NSW municipalities.
Gas – Residential
- Tier 2 residential gas data has been incorporated for specific NSW municipalities. This will impact NSW municipalities.
- Modelling has been updated for all other municipalities. This will impact all other municipalities.
Gas – Commercial
- Consumption data across all municipalities now aligns with the Australian Energy Statistics state totals. This will impact all municipalities.
- A bug has been fixed with commercial gas consumption. This will impact all municipalities with the majority of municipalities experiencing a large decrease in emissions.
Gas – Industrial
